We collected and analyzed 128 FAccT papers published between 2018 and 2022 (30.8% of the overall proceedings at FAccT during those years), revealing that 84% of them exclusively relied on participants from Western countries
→We analyzed circadian rhythm metrics from 6 million Reddit posts in 18 major cities, and matched them with ground-truth health metrics (daily steps, sleep quantity, and sleep quality) from 233,000 wearable users.
→We developed machine-learning modeles to predict dog personality based on activity data.
→We developed a deep learning framework to extract mentions of positive and negative stress in a dataset of 440,000 reviews about S&P 500 companies
→We developed and validated a six-dimensional framework reflecting Internal Sustainability Efforts (ISEs) and scored 350,000 employee reviews based on the six ISEs.
→We analyzed the sleep of 30,082 individuals across 11 countries using 52 million activity records from wearable devices
